We are thrilled to announce that on Thursday, February 12, 2026, the Clearlake Oaks County Water District approved the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) prepared by Acorn Environmental for the Wastewater Infrastructure and Rehabilitation Project. Acorn has helped the CLOCWD reach a major milestone in their ongoing mission to make improvements, repairs, and upgrades to wastewater facilities to improve system performance in and around the community of Clearlake Oaks in Lake County, California.
The project aims to rehabilitate and make improvements to the collection system including existing lift stations, pipelines and manholes; installation of a new force main along a gravity pipeline route that would allow a failing lift station to be bypassed; installation of an access road to an existing lift station for maintenance; and improvements to the WWTP including, installation of a groundwater monitoring well and repairing and upgrading various components of the WWTP.
The approval of the IS/MND is a significant step towards securing a cleaner future for the Clearlake Oaks community.
