Acorn Environmental is thrilled to extend its warmest congratulations to the Tejon Indian Tribe and their partners Hard Rock International on the grand opening of Hard Rock Casino Tejon!
The Hard Rock Casino Tejon is located on Tejon Indian Tribal land in Kern County off of the California 99 freeway, less than 15 miles south of Bakersfield. The new facility consists of a 150,000-square-foot gaming floor featuring more than 2,000 slot machines and more than 50 live table games, as well as a number of restaurants and bars to choose from. As a Hard Rock Casino, the facility will also showcase an extensive collection of authentic music memorabilia.
Acorn is proud to be part of the dedicated team that helped bring this facility to fruition. Acorn assisted in managing the implementation of mitigation measures identified in the Record of Decision for the Tejon Indian Tribe Trust Acquisition and Casino Project, as well as coordinating with Federal Agencies and obtaining necessary permits and approvals. Additionally, Acorn assisted the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) with CEQA clearance of two roundabouts to be constructed along State Route 166, which provides access to the facility.
Congratulations on this monumental achievement! We wish the Tejon Indian Tribe and Hard Rock International tremendous success.
